Hi there! Thank you so much for stopping by and – welcome! My name is Ashley and I’m the face behind Bake Drizzle Dust! I am a self-taught home baker and food photographer that absolutely loves to combine all things delicious and decadent with an artistic flair. My goal is to make treats that are both unique and beautiful to the eye, while also being enticing and irresistible to your sweet tooth.
All of the photos you see on the blog are taken by me, while I link the fantastic recipes used to reach the end product in my posts. Please feel free to leave me a question or comment and also visit the tagged recipe developer’s page to ask them any nitty gritty recipe inquiries.
My hope is to inspire you to hop in the kitchen and feel well-equipped and excited to bake up your own goodies for your friends and family, a party, or just for the fun and indulgence of it! All of these recipes have been vetted by me (as well as eager taste-test participants) and I’ll be sure to let you know if I tweaked any part of the recipe, or parts of the process that I found ways to make easier.
This blog is going to be a bit of a follow along as well, as I learn how to navigate the ins and outs of photography, food styling, and even new baking techniques (making caramel was a big one – it took me 3 tries and one smoke alarm going off…but I ultimately got there!). In this world, there is always a new skill to learn and develop.
